    MobileTech Conference: Meet us in Mainz



    Between the 6th and 8th of September, a new event on mobile development will take place in Mainz: The MobileTech Conference. We will take part in the exhibition and also contribute to the conference with a seminar about fragmentation in Java.

     


    Mobile Developer's Guide To The Galaxy: 5th edition now available



    The fifth edition of our Mobile Developer's Guide with a lot of new chapters is now available. Download the pdf or grab your hardcopy at our booth on the CommunicAsia (3M1-03) to get an overview on the different mobile platforms and their pros and cons. And please keep on sending us your feedback and input. Without the help of so many people this brochure would never have become that comprehensive. Thanks to all the contributors!

     


    Samsung Developer Day: Dive into Bada with us

    Enough Software is happy to be part of the Samsung Developer Advocates (SDA) program. Several of our engineers are involved in evaluating Bada, the recently introduced mobile operating system. By our participation we want to make sure that Samsung is aware of developers' interests and needs and help creating a developer-friendly new platform.
    On June, 25th, Samsung hosts a free event in Frankfurt to present Bada to the developer community: The Samsung Developer Day. Enough Software will also host a workshop there and we would be happy to meet you there and share our views on the technology, so please register now on www.samsungdeveloperday.de

    Upcoming opportunites to meet us



    Our CEO Robert has been invited to speak on two new events in the upcoming weeks. Both of them are taking place in Duesseldorf: The m2d2 developer day (February, 23rd) is organized by Mobile Monday Germany and mainly deals with Android. The Mobile Times conference (March, 4th) is dealing with all mobile platforms and their challenges for developers. See you there!

     


    Mobile Developer's Guide To The Galaxy: 4th edition out now

    Itīs done: The 4th edition of our Mobile Developer's Guide To The Galaxy is printed. It gives you an overview on the different mobile platforms and provides answers on many of the typical questions that come up when creating mobile software. For this edition we added new chapters about Symbian development and about implementing location-based services. Get a hard copy at our booth during the m-days (we are located in the "Innovation Area") or on the Mobile World Congress (hall 7, booth A37). You can of course also download the pdf.

    We are looking forward to your feedback. As usual, everybody is invited to contribute his/her know-how via developers@enough.de. Deadline for the 5th edition will be around beginning of April.

     


    Enough Software on the Mobile World Congress 2010



    Mobile World Congress 2010 is coming up and we will be exhibiting there for the 4th time now. As usual you will find us in hall 7 (now called "AppPlanet"), booth #A37. Please get in touch in advance to arrange a meeting with us.

    J2ME Polish 2.1.4 released

    2010-01-19: J2ME Polish 2.1.4 has now been released! Main fixes include Android compilation problems, support for BlackBerry 4.7 devices without touch events, the addition of virtual keyboards and other small scale improvements and fixes.

    J2ME Polish 2.1.3 released


    2009-12-24: J2ME Polish 2.1.3 has now been released. This release includes bugfixes as well as CSS media queries, much improved touch and touch gesture support, and cool RGB filter effects among other improvements.     Berlin, November 3rd/4th: Android conference & barcamp


    Our CEO has been invited to hold a keynote speech about cross-platform development at the droidcon conference on November, 4th. Be sure to get your tickets now, it is almost sold out. A barcamp about Android will take place one day before at the same venue. This is free to attend, but you should still make sure to register soon: The number of attendants is limited there as well.

    New edition of Developer's Guide available

    Visit our booth on the CTIA (#128) to get a copy of the second, extended edition of our Developer's Guide to the Galaxy or check out the downloadable pdf version. It contains new chapters about iPhone and Android development.

     


    Mobile Developer's Guide- first edition out now


    In collaboration with Sevenval and WIP, we have put together a new brochure: The Mobile Developer's Guide to the Galaxy. It deals with the typical questions that come up during the mobile development process: Which platform to chose, how to deal with fragmentation, how to distribute your application,... You can either download it as a pdf or get a hard copy on one of the upcoming events we will attend (Smart Event, CTIA, droidcon).
